The previous lessons gave you all the key strategies to build any type of tooltip. The mindset is always the same: an HTML layer that appears on hover at a specific position.
From there, it's just a matter of inspiration: building tooltips that fit your brand, your needs, and your taste.
This lesson gathers a few examples from the React graph gallery with interesting tooltips.
Course philosophy
You've probably picked up on it by now.
This course is not a catalog of pre-built chart examples. Just showing you how to assemble a line chart or a scatterplot would be frustrating and quickly become useless.
Instead, it gives you the foundational concepts that let you build literally anything with React and D3.js.
The same philosophy applies to tooltips. The previous lessons covered the concepts. This gallery is here to give you examples. You can now combine both to craft the tooltip that fits your needs.
