Project
Congrats, you just reached the end of the animation module! You now know how to make any chart feel alive with smooth, meaningful motion.
To end the module, let's build a small but rich R² scatterplot playground. Switching between datasets will have to make the dots, the connecting line, and the regression line morph at the same time.
Congrats!
You started this module by understanding when animation actually helps (and when it hurts), then dug into the two big families: tween vs spring, with hands-on practice in plain CSS and in Motion.
Now, let's try to build something real! I suggest we build a rich playground: an animated R² scatterplot.
Basically, it will look a bit like this, but with your personal touch on it.
R² → 0.672 Correlation → 0.819
Oh no! 😱
